Less Than A Week
Next week at this time we'll be in Fort Lauderdale, ready to board the ship in the morning. We ended up shipping a box to the hotel so we wouldn't go over our limit on airline luggage. Could happen anyway, but at least it'll be less. We shipped vitamins, shampoo, etc, things that we'll use up on the ship. Hope it arrives safely.

We're On Our Way Again!
This time seems much easier. We didn't start packing weeks before we leave. We don't have 13 bags ready to send to the ship. We are flying home from Bangkok so are limited to 2 suitcases @ 50 lbs each. Yikes, how does one pack for 65 days with that little amount? Guess we'll deal with it. I originally wanted to shop for essentials like shampoo in Ft Lauderdale. Now I think we'll be shipping things like that to the hotel. We stay one night before boarding on January 5.
Some good friends from our World Cruise in 2009 are headed around South America, leaving from the same port, same day as us. Small world, they are staying at the same hotel. I look forward to having breakfast with them.
At least I have the blog up and running, one item checked off my list. Christmas cards are sent, presents are wrapped, time to think about packing. Now that we know how great the laundry service is onboard, we won't be taking nearly as many clothes as last time. That helps. As you can see from the picture, Koda wants to go too! He'd make a great cabin cat. Too bad he's not allowed.
If you are following us, please make comments! That will let us know that there's someone interested out there. :) Look forward to hearing from you.
